Board of Directors

Lee County Board of Directors is appointed by the Lee County Taxing Units each odd number year, take office January 1 of the even numbered years. Taxing Units appoint five members based on a prorated levy based calculation.

Texas Law is specific of the duties of Board of Director. Board of Director has no authority over values or day to day operations of the appraisal district. Board of Director appoints Appraisal Review Board members, appoints the chief administrator, approves an annual budget, provides office facilities and approves policy.
